The benchmarks published by Twitterific developer Craig Hockenberry showed up a detailed comparison iPad running iPhone OS 3.2 against a stock iPhone 3GS running version 3.0.
Overall, the tests assigned iPad a performance edge of between 1.5 and 3.9 times better results. The iPad is about twice as fast as the iPhone 3GS when executing native (Cocoa Touch) applications, says Hockenberry.
So developers, make best use of your skills and create exciting new apps for the best platform, as you’ve more flexibility here!
